Self-Built 3D Printer

Description:

I enjoy spending my free time learning and tinkering with new technologies. As 3D printing started to get more and more popular, I decided to build my own 3D printer. This way, I was able to learn the fundamentals of this interesting technology.

For this project, the base frame, power supply, electrical components, and central motherboard (MEGA2560 with RAMPS 1.3) were ordered. Additionally, custom-designed 3D parts were made for structural support. All of the wiring and physical construction was done by tinkering/experimentation. Constructing a 3D printer through experimentation and observation was truly a challenging but priceless experience.

After the structure of the 3D printer was completed, the open-source Marlin firmware was downloaded and edited properly to support my custom-built 3D printer.
